Three ways a TikTok order can ship
TikTok Shipping: you or your 3PL pack the order and use TikTok's labels and rates. Seller Shipping: you use your own carrier and rates, which TikTok now marks as available to select sellers only; a plan to end it was dropped in February 2026 after seller pushback. Fulfilled by TikTok: TikTok stores and ships the stock itself.
Most heavy-item sellers who use a 3PL ship on TikTok Shipping labels or their own rates from the 3PL's warehouse. Ask which route your account is on before you compare quotes.
Fulfilled by TikTok or a 3PL
Fulfilled by TikTok now takes units up to 150 lb, is exempt from the late-dispatch rule, and promises delivery within 3 business days on eligible products. A 3PL makes sense when you sell on more than TikTok from one pool of stock, when your carrier rates beat TikTok's on heavy lanes, or when returns need inspection or repair rather than a restock. Run both numbers on your heaviest SKU before you decide.
